Any vintage Daytona’s are highly sought after watch my most collectors. They are available in a wide range of conditions ranging heavily damaged or heavily modified all the way to pristine but you need to mortgage a mansion to be able to afford it. This 6239, Stainless steel, Daytona was manufactured in 1966 and is in fantastic condition for a watch that is 5 decades old. The steel case shows signs of light polishing but displays its nice, thick, lugs well. The original, 200uph bezel is in equally good condition with all numbers easy-to-read and all paint still intact. The dial paint is stunning and gorgeous to look at. The luminous markers do show signs of age. There are 2 missing and a few are partially flaked off. The appearance of the dial is not marred in any way by this, but we point it out because we want our customers to be completely informed about our watches no matter how small the flaw. This Daytona is presented to you on a complimentary, Italian, leather strap. This is a beautiful vintage Daytona at a great price!
This watch does not draw the attention. Or reputation of a gold Rolex. Yet a more powerful statment, when worn.
