When compared to the other models that Rolex has produced, the Yacht-Master is a relatively new addition to the Rolex catalog, officially debuting in the early 1990's. It's rumored that the Yacht-Master was initially developed by Rolex as a luxurious take on the Submariner and was put on hold for several years before hitting the market as its own model in 1992. The ref. 16622 is a highly sought-after used Rolex, offering a versatile steel and platinum finish, a rotatable regatta bezel, a matching platinum dial, a sturdy three-piece link Oyster bracelet, and the model's signature case with generously tapered lugs.
