Pre-owned Rolex Yacht-Master ref 16628 (2006). Rolex released the Yacht-Master in the 1990s, with ref. 16628 as the inaugural model. It bears many similarities to the Submariner, down to the famous Mercedes-style hands, 40mm Oyster case, and 60-minute bezel, but with a solid gold bi-directional bezel, a lower depth rating, and polished lugs. This watch was designed for life above sea level, not below it like the Submariner. The bezel is one of the most luxurious design elements here. While other tool watches might have a bezel insert, the YM's is full gold and features a dynamic sand-blasted texture with raised and polished graduations. This model pairs the all-gold finish with a champagne dial to match and displays the time via Super-LumiNova hour markers and hands.
