The now-discontinued Tudor Hydronaut made its first appearance in 1999. Its design is robust and includes a larger 46mm case in stainless steel, a 60-minute bezel with a black insert and chunky, easy-to-grip notches, and a black dial topped with larger luminous hour markers and skeleton hands. The ref. 2500 that you see here today can travel as far as 1,200 meters below the surface of the sea without compromising the ETA calibre 2824 movement within. There are a few bracelet options available on the used Tudor market. This example wears on a stunning black rubber bracelet secured by a steel tang clasp.
