When Rolex creator Hans Wilsdorf founded Tudor, he intended to create a watch brand that offered the same high-quality construction as Rolex but at a much more affordable price. To this day, the Tudor brand is one of the world’s leading affordable luxury watch purveyors. Older pre-owned Tudor watches, such as the OysterDate Ranger 90520 that is presented here today, maintain several Rolex components that have since been completely phased out of the brand entirely, including a Rolex screw-down crown and a Rolex stamped case back. You can rest assured that this timepiece will hold up just as well as any Rolex timepiece. This striking vintage example also features a handsome patina display on the dial, a date mechanism at 3 o'clock, and a modest 34mm case worn on a black leather strap bracelet.
