Tudor released their first Submariner model in 1954, featuring a design very similar to the Rolex model released at the same time but with Tudor's own distinctive flair. It even used many Rolex parts but was positioned as a much more affordable option to the Rolex Submariner. Several iterations of the Tudor Submariner hit the market in the following decades, including the ref. 73290 for sale here today. Also known as the "Mini Sub," this unique edition of the famous dive watch features a smaller 34mm case and all stainless steel construction.
