Building on the already capable Pelagos design, the Ultra pushes the concept further with deeper water resistance, improved legibility, and construction tailored specifically for saturation diving environments. The watch features a 43mm case made from a combination of grade 2 and grade 5 titanium, keeping the watch strong yet surprisingly lightweight for its size. A compact helium escape valve is integrated into the case to allow trapped gases to safely exit during decompression, a critical feature for saturation divers. With a depth rating of 1,000 meters, the Pelagos Ultra doubles the capability of the standard Pelagos models and stands as one of the most technically capable dive watches Tudor has ever produced.
Legibility was a major focus in the design. The dial has been scaled up with larger hour markers and thicker hands, making it easier to read in dark underwater environments. Tudor also introduced dual-color luminescence, with blue and green lume used strategically so divers can quickly distinguish key timing elements such as the minute hand and bezel pip when tracking elapsed dive time. Inside the case is a METAS-certified Master Chronometer movement, meeting rigorous standards for precision, magnetic resistance, and reliability. The watch is outfitted with a redesigned titanium bracelet engineered for deep-sea use, completing a package built specifically for serious professional diving.
