This Tudor Snowflake is in great, honest vintage condition. The case is in good condition with scratches, nicks and wear throughout. The inside caseback is stamped "9411." The caseback has some scratches and signs of opening; the text is all clearly visible. The bezel ring has remained sharp and the bezel insert is in overall great condition with a fit of fading throughout. The crown has some wear and a slight indentation. The dial is in overall great condition with light patina. The lume on the dial has developed patina and aged to a lovely yellow that looks great with the blue dial. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands has aged to a similar color as the lume on the dia. The lume in the minute and hour hands have a shiny surface and may have been stabilized in the past; we have seen this before. This has a no. 93150 bracelet with 580 end links, divers extension and 12 links. The bracelet is in overall good condition with some scratches and wear throughout, it has some stretch between the links. The clasp is stamped "F" indicating it's from 1981. The crown on the clasp shows some signs of a previous polish.
Pre-owned Tudor Submariner ref 94110 (1980) offered the "Snowflake" style hands on the Submariners since 1969 and this era of Tudor Submariner would be the last to use them until Tudor brought back this design element to some modern models. The 94110 came out around 1973 and Tudor offered these in blue or black. Collectors tend to gravitate towards these blue Snowflakes because the French Navy / Marine Nationale chose this color to issue in the 1970s. From the well preserved blue dial to the faded bezel, this watch has taken on a beautiful aesthetic. The lume has all aged to a lovely yellow color that pops with the blue dial.
This example comes with it's box (missing pillow), punched papers, hang-tag (with written corresponding case number), and Tudor product booklet. When looking at the papers, it's stamped "Feb 1982 Rolex New York." We don't come across Tudor's with box and papers often and we are pleased to offer it!
