This vintage Tudor Snowflake is in overall great, honest vintage condition. The case is in good condition with scratches, nicks and wear throughout. The inside caseback is stamped "9411." The caseback has some scratches and the text is all clearly visible. The bezel ring has remained sharp and the bezel insert is in overall great condition with a bit of wear/ scratches. The dial is in overall honest, attractive condition; the dial has some patina/ staining around each of the lume plots (this can be hard to notice depending on the lighting). The lume on the dial has developed patina and aged to a lovely yellow that looks great against the blue dial. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands has aged to a similar color as the lume on the dial. The lume in the hour hand shows signs of cracking. This has a no. 9315 bracelet with 380 end links, divers extension and 11 links. The bracelet is in overall good condition with some scratches and wear throughout; it has a bit of stretch between the links. The clasp is stamped "G" indicating it's from 1982. The divers extension and clasp blades are signed Rolex and the cartridge is signed Tudor and is a replacement. The Tudor box is missing the insert inside.
Vintage Tudor Submariner ref 94110 (1981) offered the "Snowflake" style hands on the Submariners since 1969 and this era of Tudor Submariner would be the last to use them until Tudor brought back this design element to some modern models. The 94110 came out around 1973 and Tudor offered these in blue or black. Collectors tend to gravitate towards these blue Snowflakes because the French Navy / Marine Nationale chose this color to issue in the 1970s. From the well preserved blue dial to the faded bezel, this watch has taken on a beautiful aesthetic. The lume has all aged to a lovely yellow color that pops with the blue dial.
This example comes with it's box and punched papers. We don't come across Tudor's with box and papers often and we are pleased to offer it!
