This Tudor Submariner is in overall great vintage condition The case is in good condition with some scratches normal signs of wear. The caseback has some scratches and the "Case by Rolex..." text is clearly visible. The inside caseback is stamped "79190." The numbers and text are visible between the lugs. The bezel ring has remained sharp and the black insert is in excellent condition with some light wear, the pip is a later replacement. The dial itself is in good condition and has some marks/ light scratches to the right of the 8 o'clock hour marker; this can be hard to notice. The lume on the dial has developed patina and presents as a white creamy color. The hands are a later service replacements that will still glow. This watch has a 9315 folded Oyster bracelet with 10 links, no. 380B end links, and divers extension. The bracelet is in excellent condition with light wear. The clasp and divers extension are signed "Tudor." The clasp is stamped "P6" indicating it's from 1991. The crystal has some light wear.

Vintage Tudor Submariner ref 79190 Circa 1998. These Tudor Submariner ref. 79190s were offered with either blue or black dials with matching bezels or with the elusive polished steel bezel. This example is the latter with a beautiful striking black dial and black bezel. This reference was the last version of the Tudor Submariner before they got rid of the line and would stop using the term "Submariner." This reference is somewhat of a rare bird as we don't see them too often.

1990s Tudor Submariners offer a great value and have a nice blend of modern and vintage characteristics. The depth rating is "meters first" giving a vintage nod to 1960s Rolex Submariners. If you are looking for a Submariner that is a little different, this is something to consider!
