Unworn Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea 126660
The first Sea-Dweller Deepsea came to market in 2008 via ref. 116660 and showcased incredible watchmaking technology. The depth rating increased from 4,000 feet via the Sea-Dweller to an impressive 12,800 feet, a rating that it can credit to the addition of an innovative Ring Lock system, a thicker 5mm sapphire crystal, and a Helium Escape Valve. Most Rolex collectors will never require such an impressive depth rating. However, they can appreciate the technical prowess required to create such a resistant watch as well as the robust feature set that results from the addition of a thicker crystal and Helium Escape Valve. The used Rolex 126660 is the newest variation of the Deepsea, offering a calibre 3235 perpetual movement, a maxi dial filled with Chromalight lume, an improved 904L Oystersteel finish, and a ceramic Cerachrom bezel insert.

I've been wanting a sea dweller since I bought my green submariner in 2004. I am so glad I waited until the 2018 deep sea version was developed. 44mm case will sand up to any pressure in saturation diving and feels great on my wrist. Glide lock clasp is micro adjustable and strong. Helium escape valve dumps helium accumulated during saturation diving. Bezel action is super smooth. Buying from Bob's is important as they can be trusted.
