Pre-owned Ladies Rolex Datejust ref 6927 (1983) is a great example of how creative Rolex became with precious metal finishes during the late 1970s and 1980s. Crafted entirely in yellow gold, this reference pairs the classic 26mm Oyster case with the distinctive President bracelet, a design typically associated with the Day-Date but occasionally seen on select Datejust models like this one. What really sets this watch apart is the bark finish found on both the bezel and the center links of the bracelet. Instead of the traditional fluted or smooth bezel, the textured surface gives the gold a rich, almost hand-carved appearance that catches the light in a completely different way. The dial features Tritium lume that has aged into a deep golden patina, complementing the warm tone of the case and bracelet beautifully. Powered by a self-winding mechanical movement and protected by an acrylic crystal, the ref. 6927 captures a moment when Rolex wasn’t afraid to experiment with texture and design within its classic lineup.
Usually watches are too big or too small for my wrist but this one fit just right. Very happy and I would buy here again.
