Used Rolex GMT-Master 16750 - "Pepsi" bezel
The Rolex 16750 Pepsi Bezel GMT Master came to market in 1981 and continued production until 1988. This particular reference was responsible for introducing the line to the Quickset function, which allows the wearer to adjust the date mechanism on the dial by quickly twisting the crown. Without the addition of this feature, the wearer has to wind the crown a full 24 hours to change the date. The ref. 16750 also boasts a very desirable red and blue "Pepsi" bezel insert as well as a black dial topped with a luminous display and a stainless steel finish. Initially developed as a pilot's watch, the bezel can be read against the dedicated hand on the dial to sync with local time while keeping the dial set to home time. The watch was just as described, in fact, better than described online. The transaction was simple, secure, and seamless.
This was my first time working with Bob's and the process could not have been better from my perspective. The watch was a gift for my son who enjoys watches...this will be his 6th Rolex. I didn't participate in the conversations but he had several several questions which the staff fully answered. I entered when it was time to settle up. The customer service was great and the watch arrived very quickly. I'm not the the watch enthusiast in the family, but I see no reason why we wouldn't be looking for # 7 with Bob's as well.
