Hans Wilsdorf famously developed the Rolex Air-King as a tribute to the pilots of the British Royal Air Force. A member of the Air Series of watches that also included the Air-Giant, Air-Tiger, and Air-Lion, the Air-King is the only model that remains in production today. The preowned Rolex 14000 that is listed here today is a product of the early 1990s and boasts an affordable stainless steel finish, an older-style case and bracelet, and a striking salmon dial topped with central hands filled with lume and luminous baton and silver 3, 6, and 9-hour markers. The 34mm Oyster case is a modest case option and will appeal to men and women alike.
