It comes in at 34mm instead of 36mm, but on the wrist, it delivers the same look and functionality that made the Datejust such a staple. It still has the date window at 3 o’clock with the Cyclops lens, the same straightforward layout, and that effortless, everyday versatility Rolex does so well. Just in a slightly more understated size. This example displays the time on a black dial, giving it a more classic, almost tool-watch aesthetic compared to some of the brighter or more decorative variants from the era. The engine-turned bezel adds a bit of character. You’ll notice it has an alternating pattern, with smooth segments sitting above each hour marker.
