The modern White Rolesor Datejust was introduced to market in the mid-2000s and boasts a new-style case and bracelet, a chronometer-rated calibre 3135 Perpetual movement, and a versatile 904L-grade Oystersteel and 18 karat white gold finish. The ref. 116234 that you see here today maintains a 36mm case size but now offers polished lugs, an engraved inner reflector ring, and a double-sealed waterproof Twinlock screw-down crown. A newer Jubilee bracelet with more solid links and a hidden Crownclasp accompanies the case and gives it a more substantial hold than older-model Datejust watches. This example also features a desirable red and black Roulette Date wheel and fully-lumed baton hour markers and hands.
