However, many top brands, including Rolex, endured by developing their own quartz-powered timepieces. The OysterQuartz was a product of that era and is an incredibly fascinating part of Rolex's history. It has many of the same design elements as the mechanical Day-Date but has a special integrated bracelet and angular case to set it apart. Additionally, it is powered by a Rolex caliber quartz movement, painstakingly developed in-house to ensure unparalleled precision.
