Pre-owned Rolex Daytona ref 116518 (2014). Rolex upgraded the Daytona series in 2000, equipping its famous chronograph with the caliber 4130, the brand's first in-house self-winding chronograph movement. One of the first yellow gold models was ref. 116528, complete with a yellow gold bezel and a matching yellow gold bracelet. On those watches, the numerals on the tachymeter scale are thinner and accompanied by tiny dots. Also introduced in 2000 was the Rolex 116518 for sale here. It also has a yellow gold case, a yellow gold bezel, and the caliber 4130, but is paired with a leather strap rather than a full gold bracelet. Additionally, the tachymeter scale has slightly different typography, and the numerals are situated facing towards the dial. The example you see here displays the time on a very sporty dial via luminescent Arabic numerals.
