used Rolex Explorer II Ref 216570 - "Polar" Dial
The Explorer II ref. 21570 was one of Basel World 2011's most exciting debuts. Boasting a larger 42mm case and a throwback to the model's original reference via the addition of an orange hand on the dial, it isn't hard to see why this 6-digit reference was so well-received by attendees. Along with the larger case came a brand new movement in the form of the calibre 3187, which boasts a 48-hour power reserve, high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, and a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring. Built for low-light environments, the Explorer II also features a fixed 24-hour bezel and a dial topped with a highly visible Chromalight display. This particular used Rolex utilizes a "Polar" dial which features a white dial set with hour markers and hands in black surrounds.
