Used Rolex GMT-Master 16750
One of the last variations of the GMT Master is the ref. 16750, which was produced for a short time from 1981-1988. Replacing the 4-digit ref. 1675, this particular pilot's watch was responsible for upgrading the GMT Master to a movement with a Quickset feature. With this upgrade came a new order of the central hands to: hour, GMT hand, Minute, seconds. The main function of the GMT Master is to provide two readings simultaneously, a feature that is offered via a rotating 24-hour bezel over the case. While this feature was initially intended for use by the pilots of the Pan Am Company, it has since gained a massive following among collectors of all walks of life. The watch was just as described, in fact, better than described online. The transaction was simple, secure, and seamless.
This was my first time working with Bob's and the process could not have been better from my perspective. The watch was a gift for my son who enjoys watches...this will be his 6th Rolex. I didn't participate in the conversations but he had several several questions which the staff fully answered. I entered when it was time to settle up. The customer service was great and the watch arrived very quickly. I'm not the the watch enthusiast in the family, but I see no reason why we wouldn't be looking for # 7 with Bob's as well.
