Used Rolex GMT-Master II - 116710BLNR - "Batman" Bezel Insert
The stainless steel variation of the 6-digit GMT Master II was released in 2007 and featured the brand's coveted Cerachrom ceramic bezel insert, a 904L-grade Oystersteel finish, a maxi dial with a larger luminous display, and a new calibre 3186 perpetual movement. A few years later in 2013, Rolex also released the two-tone bezel variation of the ref. 116710, which was affectionately nicknamed the Batman or Dark Knight after the striking black and blue insert on the bezel. The dial also received a blue GMT hand on the dial, perfectly matching the bezel insert. The process required to successful lay two colors into the ceramic material of the bezel is very involved and difficult to perfect, which makes the pre-owned Rolex 116710BLNR that is presented here today even more desirable among collectors in-the-know.
