The 6-digit GMT Master II came to market in the mid-2000s, with the two-tone Yellow Rolesor variation following shortly after in 2006. As a newer addition to the brand's catalog, the ref. 116713 also featured a new maxi dial with larger hour markers and wider Mercedes hands, a next-generation calibre 3186 perpetual movement, and a Cerachrom bezel insert crafted from resilient ceramic material. The Oyster case also received a notable upgrade in the form of a larger crown guard, wider lugs, and a triple-sealed Triplock screw-down crown. Rolex pairs the case with a new-style Oyster bracelet, complete with high-polished center links and an Oysterlock clasp with more solid construction and an Easylink 5mm extension link.

After quite some time lurking on Bob's watches, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a watch for my wife for Christmas. At the same time she got a GMT Master II for me. I could not be happier about the purchases. The watches arrived quickly and were in excellent condition. My wife Datejust steel/gold with diamonds watch had been advertised as being unworn, while may GMT Master II was also a recent model with the Cerachrom bezel and random serial. Both watches were absolutely mint. They were exact;y as advertised and in fact looked better in real life than they did in the photographs. The Rolex dealer to whom I took the watches for sizing was very complimentary. They look and feel great. Did I say that I was very happy :-) Perfect purchase!
