The Rolex 116713 GMT Master II in yellow gold and stainless steel is a highly sought-after variation of the brand's modern pilot's watch. Its feature set includes a traditional 40mm case measurement with slightly more robust lugs and a larger crown guard. The screw-down crown was upgraded with the introduction of the 6-digit GMT Master II in the mid-2000s from the Twinlock to the Triplock screw-down crown, ensuring even more resistance to pressures of up to 100 meters. The case also received a new-style bracelet, complete with solid end links and a folding Oysterlock clasp with more solid construction. The most notable upgrade, however, was the addition of a maxi dial and a Cerachrom bezel with a ceramic insert. After quite some time lurking on Bob's watches, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a watch for my wife for Christmas. At the same time she got a GMT Master II for me. I could not be happier about the purchases. The watches arrived quickly and were in excellent condition. My wife Datejust steel/gold with diamonds watch had been advertised as being unworn, while may GMT Master II was also a recent model with the Cerachrom bezel and random serial. Both watches were absolutely mint. They were exact;y as advertised and in fact looked better in real life than they did in the photographs. The Rolex dealer to whom I took the watches for sizing was very complimentary. They look and feel great. Did I say that I was very happy :-) Perfect purchase!
