Rolex GMT-Master II Ref 16760 "Fat Lady Coke"
The Rolex 16760 GMT Master II is known by many avid secondhand collectors as the Fat Lady or the Sophia Loren, after its curvy case. The ref. 16760 was the first model in the GMT Master II line and brought with it a calibre 3085 Perpetual movement with an independent 24-hour hand. Its predecessor, the GMT Master, did not include this function, which required a thicker case in the GMT Master II. A few years after the release of the ref. 16760, Rolex developed a similar model with a refined, thinner case and a thinner movement. The Fat Lady has since become a highly prized collector's item among those who are in-the-know. This example is in excellent secondhand condition and is a great chance to add a notably vintage GMT to your collection.
