used Rolex GMT-Master 16700 - "Pepsi"
The first GMT Master was developed in the 1950s during the dawn of transatlantic flight. Its debut couldn't have come at a better time as the Pan American company had just become the first airline to offer flights from New York to Paris. Its feature set included a 24-hour bezel as well as a dedicated hand on the dial that allowed the wearer to read a second time zone. The ref. 16700 is the very last reference in the line that also features a brushed stainless steel finish, a case that is resistant to pressures up to 100 meters, a Perpetual movement with self-winding technology, and a luminous display on the dial. The used Rolex that you see here today is a desirable variation of the line that pairs the steel finish with a black dial and a Pepsi bezel in Pan Am's signature red and blue.
