The Milgauss was introduced to market 1956, bringing with it a case that could withstand up to 1,000 gauss via a soft iron Faraday cage. This professional series watch appealed greatly to those who worked around higher magnetic fields, such as power plants and hospitals. The line was discontinued for several years, re-entering the market via ref. 116400. Similar to the original model from the 1950s, the modern Milguass displays a lightning bolt seconds hand on the dial. The preowned Rolex that you see here today presents the hand in a bright orange hue and displays the time via orange luminous baton markers and central sweep hands set against a white dial. The case measures 40mm in diameter and features a smooth bezel, time-only movement, and flat-link Oyster bracelet secured by an Oysterclasp.

Like brand new, came out of the box as a perfect fit. I'm impressed with the condition of the watch. It's a gorgeous watch. The orange markers pop out on the white dial.
