Rolex Submariner 16803
The 16800 series of Submariner watches was released in the late 1970's. This series was responsible for adding a two-tone variant of the brand's iconic diver to the line as well as a unidirectional time-lapse bezel, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and an increased waterproofness of up to 300 meters. The ref. 16803 is a striking member of the 16800 series, pairing the steel and gold finish with a blue metallic dial and a matching blue aluminum bezel. Gold surrounds on the dial and gold graduations on the bezel complement the two-tone finish of the case and bracelet nicely. While this preowned Rolex was initially developed for use while in the water, it's now a highly sought-after reference by collectors of all lifestyles and professions.
