The Yacht-Master debuted in the early 1990s with the yellow gold ref. 16628 that you see here today. Developed as an elevated take on the Submariner, the Yacht-Master boasts a sand-blasted bezel with raised and polished 60-minute graduations, polished and tapered lugs, and a stunning yellow gold finish. The dial is reminiscent of the iconic Submariner and displays the time with black hour markers and luminous Mercedes hands in yellow gold surrounds. What sets the Yacht-Master apart from its cousin the Submariner is the use of a bidirectional bezel and a lesser depth rating of up to 100 meters.
