Vintage Rolex Submariner 5512
The Submariner is one of the most iconic dive watches in existence. Even though it was developed over sixty years ago, its original design ethos remains in every Submariner watch ever produced with an iconic luminous display on the dial, a 60-minute bezel, and a waterproof Oyster case. Ref. 5512 is a popular vintage Rolex made between the late 1950s and the late 1970s. Interestingly enough, it was produced alongside the nearly-identical ref. 5513, with the main difference being that ref. 5512 is COSC-rated and ref. 5513 is not. Ref. 5512 was also discontinued more than a decade before ref. 5513, making it a slightly more coveted edition of the famed diver. The example you see here features a handsome matte black service dial, a Jubilee bracelet, and a case engraved with "P.A.M. DECEMBER 1970".
