The older-model Rolex Datejust ref. 1600 exudes sophisticated vintage dress watch design via an Oyster case with more-tapered lugs, a thicker acrylic crystal, and a silver "Pie Pan" dial topped with older-style indices and hands. The luminous plots on the dial have since aged to a desirable creamy patina, further adding to the immense character of the dial. This example of the Datejust was produced in the mid-1960s and runs on a calibre 1570 self-winding movement with an automatically changing date mechanism. The watch is in overall excellent secondhand condition with some signs of wear on the case and bezel.
