| Case: | Excellent 40MM stainless steel case with very light wear. It comes with a beautiful vibrant brown and gold bidirectional rotatable bezel that is in overall excellent condition. The caseback is stamped 16750. Serial and reference numbers are clearly visible and well defined. Crystal has little signs of use. |
| Dial: | Excellent brown dial with Tritium hands and hour markers. The hands on the dial will have light patina present consistent with age. |
| Bracelet: | Excellent stainless steel and 18k yellow gold Jubilee with 20 links and 450 end links. The Folding Oysterclasp is stamped "I11", corresponding to 1984 which makes sense for the production of the watch. There is light surface wear on the clasp and bracelet typical with wear. |

Vintage Watch Condition Examination
This GMT is in fantastic, lightly worn condition. The watch was lightly worn over the years and has some light wear and scratches. The case is strong and appears to be unpolished, the bevels on the case are clearly visible. Some of the lug holes show minor wear around the edge, most likely from removing the bracelet. The bezel ring has remained sharp and the bezel insert is in excellent condition with light wear and light scratches. The dial is in excellent condition with light patina. The hands are in great condition with some patina and signs of oxidation which is not uncommon. The lume in the hands and on the dial have aged to a matching color and have developed patina. The bracelet is in excellent condition with little wear and the gold has developed a bit of patina. The clasp has some light wear. The outer box shows wear and that and the GMT booklet may have had some water damage at some point over the years.
Rolex GMT-Master 16753 Root Beer
The Rolex 16753 Root Beer GMT Master is distinguished by a unique two-tone aluminum bezel in tones of brown and gold. The case and bracelet are presented in two-tone steel and gold. The iconic Root Beer also often displays the time on a brown nipple dial via faceted yellow gold hour markers and matching Mercedes hands. Rolex updated the movement for the 16753 and it now features a quick-set date which makes setting a breeze.
We don't come across two-tone GMT's in this type of condition with the full set very often as we see many of these were worn and loved over the years. These 1980s 16753 "Root Beer" GMT's have a uniquely retro vibe and we have seen interest rise in these models. This watch is nearly a time capsule and comes with it's box and papers.
