Rolex Submariner 1680
The "Red Sub" or "Single Red" is considered to be a highly collectible vintage timepiece. Only the early models of Rolex ref. 1680 have the word "Submariner" written in red which makes this watch stand out. A few other features that the 1680 boasts are the introduction of the date wheel and cyclops to the Submariner range and the 3mm raised acrylic crystal. This watch has a "feet before meters" mark IV dial which is the last dial to print the red lettering on top of white and to use distinctively "open 6's." The naturally faded bezel, creamy hour markers and matching hands, make this watch a stunning vintage piece which is sure to shine in any collection!
