Vintage Rolex Thunderbird Datejust 1625
This variation of the vintage Oyster Perpetual Datejust is equipped with a "Thunderbird" Turn-o-Graph bezel in yellow gold. At the time of the Turn-o-Graph's release in the 1950s, it was the very first serially-produced watch with a rotatable bezel, making it the first tool watch in the Rolex catalog. This example is an earlier-model from sometime in the 1960s that includes a calibre 1575 Perpetual movement with self-winding and a jump date mechanism, a stainless steel case, a yellow gold bezel, and a stunning champagne "Pie Pan" dial topped with elegant stick hour markers and central sweep hands. This example is in excellent secondhand condition for a vintage watch and is available for purchase today.
