Rolex Explorer II Ref 16550

Unlike most Explorer models, this men's Rolex boasts a white dial topped with matching white lume hour markers and hands. Black surrounds create a highly visible reading, giving this reference 16550 a distinct style that is all its own. The Explorer II also boasts a waterproof Oyster case and a sturdy Oyster bracelet with three-piece links and a folding Oysterlock clasp. Also referred to as a transitional model, the reference 16550 was introduced after the ref. 1675 and before the ref. 16700, which was known for introducing upgrades such as a sapphire crystal and calibre 3175 movement to the Explorer II line.
