Everyone travels at some point in their life. They will travel locally on vacation, far for work and everywhere else in between. The Rolex GMT was created just for travelers, specifically for pilots, but anyone that passes through multiple time zones can enjoy the features on the GMT model. With one time set to your local time and the other to your home time, it is easy to see the difference in time and avoid the embarrassing call to your loved ones at four in the morning because you didn’t know what time it was back home. The GMT functions are a perfect example of how Rolex engineering will be designed for a critical function but versatile enough for everyday life.
This 1675 was manufactured in 1978 and has recently been polished. The beautiful Pepsi bezel insert was replaced but has had time to age and shows some wonderful signs of age. The dial and hands were replaced by Rolex at a service and are nice and clean. The newer 93150 Oyster bracelet is in great shape with minimal signs of wear and stretch. This timepiece comes with its original box, warranty papers and service warranty card from Rolex dated 2013. This is a simple, nice piece. Don’t miss out. The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
