Audemars Piguet produced the Royal Oak Off Shore Scuba in the mid-2000s. The ref. 15701ST is a special "Boutique Edition" that was only available at AP boutiques and was only produced in a couple hundred units. The case, while measuring a robust 42mm in diameter is also relatively slim and wears easily on the wrist, thanks to a thickness of just over 12mm. The case itself is also very resilient and utilizes a brushed stainless steel finish, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment, and a depth rating of up to 300 meters. The brand's signature rivet bezel and Tapisserie dial top the case and boast immense attention to detail with the bezel featuring polished edges and polished and recessed bolts. The dial displays the time via bold Superluminova Arabic markers and is framed by a vibrant blue bi-directional 60-minute bezel, which can be accessed via the screw-down crown at 10 o'clock. Produced in very limited quantities, this is an excellent chance to add a rare pre-owned Audemars Piguet to your luxury watch collection.
I always wanted a hexagonal watch, this watch is very nice. The movement is very quiet. Its very heavy and chunky, which I like. My wrist is 7.5" circumference, and you need a larger wrist for it to fit decently
