Cartier Roadster 2618 Chronograph
The Cartier Roadster is inspired by automotive design. Its feature set includes lines that mimic the shape of a car as well as a magnifying lens over the date that resembles a car windshield, registers that look like speedometers, and chronograph functions that can be used to measure driving speeds of up to 400 kilometers per hour. The chronograph can be functioned via side pushers above and below the center crown, and a Tachymeter scale circles the perimeter of the dial. The ref. 2618 offers masculine proportions via a 43 x 48mm case, a satin and brushed stainless steel finish, and a black dial topped with a bold luminous display.
