IWC released the Big Pilot's watch ref. IW500201 in 2002, bringing with it a sleek yet bold style. The first Big Pilot, this men's timepiece features a robust hold via a 46mm diameter and a thickness of 15.5mm. Crafted from stainless steel and worn on a genuine leather bracelet, the 5002 as it is known among avid IWC collectors, offers a highly versatile style that has no problem pairing with a t-shirt and jeans or formal wear. The automatic movement that beats within the case features a date mechanism located at the 6-hour marker and a 7-day power reserve that is indicated on a sub counter at the 3-hour marker.
