It’s deep, rich, and easy to read, with a power-reserve indicator at 3 o’clock and a date at 6 for balance. Flip it over, and you’ll find a special engraved caseback referencing the story. Inside is the caliber 52110, featuring IWC’s Pellaton winding system and a full 7-day (168-hour) power reserve. There’s also a soft-iron inner case for anti-magnetic protection and a crystal secured against pressure changes.
