Pre-owned Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref 67243 (1988). There's so much to love about this discontinued variation of the OP. In addition to being unlike anything else in the current-production lineup, it sports all the usual hallmarks of a vintage Rolex, including tapered and brushed lugs and plump Tritium plots that have since aged to a warm patina on this model. What really caught our eye, however, is the engine-turned bezel, a feature that Rolex no longer produces. We've seen a few iterations of this bezel type, but this one is particularly collection-worthy because it has a finer texture throughout, punctuated by tiny smooth dots above each minute hash and long, smooth segments over each hour marker. A dynamic design that creates depth and aids in legibility.
