By Paul Altieri,
The Rolex GMT has been appreciated for over 50 years by pilots, collectors and the general public alike. The model has advanced with many appealing features along the way.
The “Mark I” matte black dial is captivating, and a distinguishing feature unbeknownst to many Rolex collectors. A subtle nuance that serious collectors will notice, differentiating itself from later dial variants, is the long ‘E’ signature found within the “ROLEX” signature. This mark 1 dial has been kept in very good original condition and the markers have aged consistently. This aging has resulted in a nice creamy color. The bezel insert displays a nice red and blue coloring, further enhancing this watch's appeal.
Combining the charm and pleasure of a true vintage watch along with great daily wearability, this stunning example is accompanied by an excellent case, which carries full proportions and really completes the overall look of this vintage GMT.
*All Pre-Owned Rolex watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and certified authentic. All watches are shipped to fit the average size wrist (7 1/4" - 7 1/2" for men and 6 1/4" - 6 1/2" for women). Additional links can be purchased if needed.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
