A Speedy was famously present as humankind took its first steps on the Moon and has been a part of each following lunar mission. The reliable chronograph movement and accompanying tachymeter scale are perfect for flight and even played a part in getting the crew of the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission home safely. Iconic Moonwatches typically feature a stainless steel case with twisted "Lyre" lugs, a tri-compax dial, space-friendly Hesalite crystal, and a manual-winding mechanical movement, similar to the authentic Omega 311.30.42.30.01.005 for sale here.
