The Omega 3188.8.131.52.01.001 is every bit the classic Speedmaster Moonwatch, featuring a Hesalite crystal over the dial, slim black bezel topped with a contrasting Tachymeter scale, and classic black "step" dial with recessed chronograph registers and a luminous display. Also known as the "Moonwatch," the Omega Speedmaster played a key role in space exploration as the first watch worn on the Moon. It's also affectionately referred to by avid Omega collectors as the "Speedy." Reference 3184.108.40.206.01.001 is powered by the cal. 1861 movement, a descendant of the hand-wound movement that once visited the Moon.

Timeless look that can be worn formally or informally. I love that it came with so much more than just the watch. My daily wear was a Breitling Superocean, but I think this is my new one.
I've wanted a Moonwatch for over 20 years since I saw one in a space magazine in elementary school. I finally own one and couldn't be happier. Using the NATO strap until I can get several links removed from the metal band, but oddly enough I actual really like the NATO strap...
