Panerai's roots lie in military use. In fact, it wasn't until around the 1990s that their tool watches became available for commercial sale. This edition is instantly recognizable as a Panerai wristwatch with a traditional cushion-shaped case and a larger crown guard. The case is presented in 316L stainless steel, which forged from a single block of steel to ensure an impeccable, seamless finish. The Panerai Luminor GMT also features the brand's signature baton and Arabic markers on the dial as well as an additional hand and a coordinating 24-hour scale around the dial's perimeter for dual timekeeping.
