Pre-owned Patek Philippe Nautilus ref 3800/1J-001 (2003) is the all-gold edition of the mid-size 38mm model. When the Nautilus was released in 1976, it initially featured a larger case, which was considered quite large for that era in watchmaking. The "Jumbo" models were initially popular, but there was still strong demand for more compact options. In response, the ref. 3800 was introduced in the 1980s, which continued production until around the mid-2000s. This model remains a highly sought-after collector's item for its approachable size and weight and traditional Nautilus design codes. The ref. 3800/1J-001 is a full-gold model with a classy white dial and matching yellow gold hour markers and hands. The lume has aged over the years to a warm patina that complements the yellow gold finish beautifully.
