Basel World 2017 brought us the red logo Sea-Dweller, complete with a Cyclops magnifier over the date, a brand new calibre 3235 movement with automatic winding and a Chronergy escapement, and a larger 43mm diameter. Also known as the Anniversary Rolex Sea-Dweller, the ref. 126600 was released just in time for the line's 50th anniversary, and honors dive watch styling old and new. The case is notably waterproof up to 4,000 feet, a depth rating that is achieved via the addition of a Triplock screw-down crown with three sealed zones and an innovative Helium Escape Valve. The case is also equipped with a unidirectional time-lapse bezel fitted with a Cerachrom ceramic insert, a larger Maxi display filled with blue Chromalight lume, and 904L-grade Oystersteel.
