Pre-owned Rolex Date ref 15223 (1993) is a curious model because it has all the usual hallmarks of a traditional Rolex dress watch (the self-winding movement, waterproof Oyster case, and 3 o'clock date) but in a smaller 34mm case size. It's identical to the Datejust, which measures 36mm. To differentiate between the two sizes, Rolex named this 34mm watch the "Rolex Date." If you have a smaller wrist or simply prefer a smaller watch, the Date might be the perfect choice. What's more, Rolex no longer produces this size, so pre-owned watches like the Rolex 15223 for sale here are currently your only option. This model features a striking yellow gold engine-turned bezel, a feature Rolex no longer makes, as well as a matching two-tone Jubilee bracelet and a silver dial decorated with yellow gold and Tritium.
