The Datejust Thunderbird Turn-o-Graph was the first timepiece in the Rolex catalog to feature a rotatable bezel. This model was released before more well-known tool watches, such as the Submariner and GMT Master, making it the brand's first official tool watch. The Thunderbird earns its nickname after the US Air Force's aerobatic team by the same name, making it a military watch as well. This ref. 16263 is a popular variation of the line that showcases a classic Datejust feature set via a 36mm waterproof Oyster case, a jump date on the dial, a self-winding movement, and a five-link Jubilee bracelet. The addition of a gold 60-minute bezel makes this Datejust a truly special collector's item that any preowned Rolex collector would be proud to add to their watch box.
