Pre-owned Rolex Datejust 36 ref 116244 (2008 - 2009) reflects a shift in how the Datejust began to be worn. Originally introduced as a men’s watch back in 1945, the collection later expanded into smaller sizes, including the Lady-Datejust, which became a staple for decades. More recently, though, many have moved toward larger case sizes, and the 36mm Datejust has found a wider audience because of it. This reference keeps the classic proportions but adds a more decorative, feminine element. The case and bracelet are stainless steel, paired with an 18k white gold bezel set with diamonds for a bit of sparkle. The dial is where it really makes a name for itself among the rest of the 36mm series, featuring a pink floral motif made up of gear-shaped patterns, along with polished Arabic numerals at 6 and 9 o’clock. It’s still very much a Datejust, just with a more expressive side.
