pre-owned Rolex Datejust 16263 "Turn-O-Graph"
The Rolex 16263 Datejust Thunderbird is an intriguing watch to collect as it boasts a unique feature set and an interesting history. Also known as the "Turn-o-Graph", the Datejust Thunderbird was the first timepiece in the Rolex catalog to feature a rotatable timing bezel. This model was introduced before other tool watch giants the Submariner and GMT Master, making it an integral piece of horology. The Thunderbird was also the official timepiece of the US Air Force's Thunderbird aerobatic team, making it a military watch as well. The ref. 16263 that you see here today is a two-tone example of the line that features a yellow gold bezel and a matching steel and gold bracelet.
